Covid-19 has created a lot of uncertainty, and left many with difficult decisions to make regarding the funeral services of their loved ones. At Dubock Funerals we hope that through our funeral solutions we can help dispel some of that uncertainty during this difficult time.
Ask what chapel or church would be right for you
Government restrictions have recently relaxed, allowing funerals to have 50 members of friends and family in attendance. This number applies to both indoor and outdoor funeral services. However, social distancing measures still apply. This may mean that smaller chapels and churches are not able to accomodate the full 50 individuals.
To avoid confusion or disappointment, please check with your arranger about your choice of church or chapel and whether it's able to accommodate your needs.
Webcasting is now included in our chapel service packages
While there have been some relaxing of restrictions, many people are still finding it difficult to attend a funeral service. This may be because they are immunocompromised and need to stay isolated for their health and wellbeing, or due to travel restrictions, or any number of reasons beyond their control.
This is why, for the duration of the Covid-19 restrictions, we are including standard webcasting in all of our Chapel Service packages. This is a simple solution for those that wish to be present to farewell a loved one but are unable to do so physically.
Upgraded webcasting services are also available at extra cost if a more elaborate or technical webcasting facilities are required.
Viewings are still available
For the safety of our client families and staff we are still limiting the number of people we are permitting inside during viewings. We are allowing no more than 12 people at once and request that social distancing measures are still adhered to. Once these 12 people have said their farewells and leave the premises we will disinfect our viewing room, and another 12 people are welcome to enter. We ask for families and friends to stay in their vehicles until it is their turn for the viewing.
We hope that by staggering groups like this we are able to both comply with government regulations and also consider the needs of our client families.
